Shri M. Vinod, Member, Advisory Panel CBFC, Kolkata has deeply mourned the untimely demise of Popular comedian Raju Srivastava who passed away at the age of 58.

The comedian took his last breath today at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi.

MV Campbell Bay will sail for Campbell Bay via Nancowry on 22.09.2022 (Thu) at 1000 Hrs from Haddo Wharf and will sail for Port Blair on 24.09.2022 (Sat) at 0900 Hrs from Campbell Bay via Nancowry.

Passenger Tickets for onward journey will be issued on 22.09.2022 at Haddo Wharf two hours prior to the departure time of the vessel based on verification of Covid Booster/Precautionary Dose Certificate or Negative RTPCR Test Report provided from the RTPCR testing Centre, Port Blair.

Sindhu will sail for Campbell Bay via Nancowry on 29.09.2022 (Thu) at 1000 Hrs from Haddo Wharf and will sail for Port Blair on 01.10.2022 (Sat) at 0900 Hrs from Campbell Bay via Nancowry.

Port Blair, Sept. 20: The Member of Parliament, Shri. Kuldeep Rai Sharma has requested the Hon’ble Lt. Governor of Andaman & Nicobar Islands to name three important roads on the brave martyrs of these Islands Viz. Martyr Captain Ashim Kumar Bhattacharjee, Martyr Ramesh Singh and Martyr M. Dilli Rao.

Expresses Concern over Bad Condition of Road

Port Blair, Sept. 20: The Chief Secretary, Shri Keshav Chandra, IAS on the second day of his tour to N&M Andaman District, visited various places in Diglipur. During the visit, he visited the first ever private Fresh Water Finfish Hatchery developed by a women fish farmer namely Smti Vijaya Biswas under the Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana at Durgapur in Diglipur. The objective of the ‘Fresh Water Finfish Hatchery’ development scheme is to fulfill the requirement of fish seeds.

Port Blair, Sept. 20: The Centre of Indian Trade Unions, Andaman & Nicobar State Committee organized a Mass Dharna, Procession and Public meeting today (20.09.2022) at Tiranga Park, Port Blair, to protest against various anti-working class policies of the central government and Andaman & Nicobar Administration.  The mass dharna was held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. which was followed by a mass procession from Tiranga Park and concluded at the same venue which converged into a public meeting.
