Port Blair, Nov. 25: The Hindu Rashtra Shakti (HRS) has demanded for Cow Ambulance and Emergency Toll Free services for animal rescue. In a letter to the Lt. Governor, the State President, HRS, Shri Rakeshwar Lall mentioned that many state like Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh etc. are having Cow Ambulance Services (24 x 7). Presently, there is no Cow Ambulance Service in Andaman & Nicobar Islands and dedicated helpline number.

Diglipur, Nov 25: A special meeting of the PRI members and officials of the line departments was held today in the conference hall of the Sitanagar Gram Panchayat. Welcoming the members, the Panchayat Pradhan Shri Biplab Monadal elaborated the role of the ‘Gram Panchayat facilitation team’ in the development of the Panchayat. Port Blair, Nov. 25: The general public and Political Parties have been informed that the Election Commission of India, New Delhi has announced the schedule for Special Summary Revision of Photo Electoral Rolls w.r.t. 01.01.2023 as the qualifying date.  As part of this, special campaign will be held on Nov. 26 & 27, 2022 & Dec. 3 & 4, 2022. The last date for disposal of claims and objections pertaining to Special Summary Revision of Photo Electoral Rolls is Dec. 26 and final publication of electoral roll will be on Jan. 5, 2023.
