Port Blair, Sept. 12: Four COVID positive case has been detected today in A&N Islands from incoming flight passenger who arrived yesterday. Today, 10 flights with 1760 passengers arrived, out of which, 1640 passengers were vaccinated with both doses while RT-PCR test was conducted on 84 passengers and the reports are awaited.

Port Blair, Sept. 11: Acting on a specific intelligence input from reliable source, Police team from Central Crime Station consisting of SI M.A Rasheed, HC/264 Sanjay Kujur, PC/2836 Raja Rao and LHG(R)/114 Saramma apprehended one lady namely Bina Mondal W/o Shri Jyotiprokash Mondal (45) yrs R/o R.K Pur, Little Andaman with 2.049 Kgs of Ambergris on 09/09/2022. Ambergris was seized and the lady was detained after observing all codal formalities.
