Sri Vijaya Puram, March 27: The Andaman Nicobar Chess Association (ANCA) will be organizing the State Under-07 Chess Championship cum Selection Trials on Sunday, April 6, 2025, at the ANCA Chess Centre, Dairy Farm. The championship will serve as the official selection event to select two boys and two girls who will represent the Andaman & Nicobar Islands in the 38th National Under-07 Chess Championship–2025, scheduled to be held in Odisha from June 4 to 8, 2025.

Sri Vijaya Puram, March 27: The Department of Art and Culture, A&N Administration is organizing ‘Sahitya Mahotsav-2025’ at Sri Vijaya Puram from March 27 to 29, 2025. In this series, a 'Hasya Kavi Sammelan' will be organized by the Official Language Department, A&N Administration on March 28, 2025 at 6.30pm in Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Auditorium, Sri Vijaya Puram Municipal Council.

Sri Vijaya Puram, March 27: The three days Literature Festival - ‘Beyond Horizon – All India Writers’ Festival’, being organized by the Art & Culture Department, A&N Administration, in association with Sahitya Akademi, New Delhi, is being held today at the TGCE Auditorium here.
On the second day i.e. on Mar. 28, the programme of the Literature Festival has been divided into three different sessions. Accordingly, the Literary Session titled ‘What Makes Specific Stories Timeless Tales’, will be held from 2.30 to 4 pm while the Literary Session titled ‘Poetry: The Mirror of Soul: Poets' Meet’, will be held from 4.30 to 6 pm. The third session is a ‘Hasya Kavi Sammelan’, being organized by the Official Language Department of the A&N Administration, at the Dr B.R. Ambedkar Auditorium at 6.30 pm.
