Shri Kuldeep Rai Sharma, Member of Parliament, Andaman Nicobar Islands has deeply mourned the sad demise of Sarajit Halder (26 years) Ex-Block Youth Congress Vice President, Diglipur S/o Shri Dheren Halder, R/o R.K Gram, Diglipur who passed away on 01.03.2023.  He also mourned the sad demise of D Mohan Rao S/o Late Jaggulu R/o Bambooflat who expired on 28.02.2023. He prayed to the Almighty to give eternal peace to the departed souls and courage to the bereaved families to bear the irreparable loss.

Kuldeep Rai Sharma has demanded early consideration of the grievances of the Part Time Pre-Primary Teachers, Ayah, Safai Karmachari of the Education department regarding enhancement of salary, providing payment during summer vacation and providing other benefits like Casual Leave, EPF, Maternity leave etc. at the earliest possible.

Port Blair, Feb 28: The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi during the Parakram Diwas celebration organized at Port Blair on Jan 23, 2023, had laid the foundation stone of a new memorial in honouring the life of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose which will be built on Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Dweep and unveiled the model of the National Memorial dedicated to Netaji who stayed on the Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Dweep (the then Ross Islands) during his visit to the A&N Islands in December 1943. It was Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose who hoisted the tri-colour on the soil of Andaman on Dec 30, 1943 and formed the first independent government of India.

Port Blair, Feb 28: The three days National Seminar on ‘Swantantryaveer Vinayak Damodar Savarkar and Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose: Freedom Struggle and Bharatiya Nationalism’, organized by the Indian Council of Historical Research, Ministry of Education, Govt. of India, in academic collaboration with Akhil Bharatiya Itihas Sankalan Yojana, (ABISY), New Delhi concluded with a valedictory session in the auditorium of the DBRAIT, Dollygunj here today. The Hon’ble Lt. Governor, A&N Islands and Vice-Chairman, Islands Development Agency, Admiral D K Joshi, PVSM, AVSM, YSM, NM, VSM, (Retd.) was the chief guest on the occasion.
