Car Nicobar, May 26: In a significant endeavor to address the pressing concerns of Car Nicobar Islands, the Member of Parliament, Shri. Kuldeep Rai Sharma convened a meeting with all the Captains on 25th May 2023. The Chief Captain of Car Nicobar Island was also present during the meeting.

Port Blair, May 26: The Department of Economics and Statistics, A&N Administration conducted plastic awareness drive today in the Office premises and adjacent area of Quarry Hill, Phoenix Bay alongwith Officers and Office Staff as part of public awareness and mobilization exercise under Mission LiFE to promote sustainable livelihood and conservation of environment through eco-friendly measures and avoiding the usage of single use plastics. During the drive, plastic bottles, wrappers and other plastic wastages were collected.
