Port Blair, Aug 13: A draft Caravan Tourism Policy has been prepared by the Directorate of Information, Publicity & Tourism, A&N Administration aiming to regulate and promote Caravan Tourism in A&N Islands. As the UT Administration is taking efforts towards sustainable and inclusive tourism practices, suggestions, inputs and comments on the draft policy is being invited by the public, tourism stakeholders and Govt. Departments.

Port Blair, Aug 13: In continuation to vacancy notice published on 10.05.2023, candidates have been informed that the hall ticket for the CBT Mode examination for the post of Industries Promotion Officer and Librarian will be available for downloading from the link https://erecruitment.andaman.gov.in. from tomorrow (Aug.14) onwards. The candidates have to login to the link https://erecruitment.andaman.gov.in. and select ‘eRecruitment only’ option and mention their registration number & Date of Birth for downloading the Hall Ticket.

Port Blair, Aug 11: Shri. Devesh Chandra Srivastva, IPS, Director General of Police, A & N Islands officially launched the Central Equipment Identity Register(CEIR) Service for lost/stolen mobile blocking/unblocking request through Citizen Portal of A&N Police, on 11.09.2023 at Police Headquarters, Port Blair in the presence of Shri Pankaj Kumar, IAS, Secretary (IT), Shri. Sanjay Kumar Tyagi, IPS, DIGP (Intl/CID), Smt. Monika Bhardwaj, IPS, DIGP (L&O) and other officers and staff. With the launch of this portal, citizens can now register their Lost/Stolen mobile phone complaints directly into CCTNS Citizen Service Portal at http://citizen.andaman.gov.in/Login.aspx. This information will further go into the CCTNS Core Application. Missing mobile registration requires some specific mandatory information like mobile number and IMEI details. The data will be replicated from State Data Centre to the National Data Centre and will be shared with C-DOT for blocking. Process for blocking/un-blocking of Mobile Phones in the Citizen Portal is as follows:-

In a letter addressed to the Chief Secretary, A&N Administration, Shri. Kuldeep Rai Sharma emphasized the vital role that youths play in shaping a vibrant society and urged the authorities to create an environment that nurtures their growth, development, and involvement in constructive activities.
