Port Blair, Feb 3: Shri G. Ramakrishnan, Polit Bureau Member and Dr Sujan Chakraborthy, Ex-MP and Central Committee Member of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) are reaching Port Blair on 4th February, 2023 morning from mainland.  They will attend a series of meetings including the State Organsing Committee meeting scheduled to be held on 4th February 2023 at Shaheed Bhavan, Port Blair. 

Port Blair, Feb. 3: A review meeting for conducting State Level Mock Disaster Management Exercise (Tatpar-23) in A & N Islands was held today in the Situation Room of Directorate of Disaster Management, A&N Administration to review the Disaster Preparedness of various stakeholders.

Mayabunder, Feb. 3: In order to deliver the citizen centric services to the common man at their door steps, Dr. Satyendra Singh Dursawat, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, North and Middle Andaman District conducted a Camp Court at Kadamtala Community Hall where large no of people gathered and voiced their grievances. The Deputy Commissioner took several on the spot decisions to resolve the grievances of citizens. He also directed the Tehsildar Rangat to dispose the grievances of the public as soon as possible. The representatives of line Departments were strictly directed to mitigate the grievances of the general public in time bound manner. 

Port Blair, Feb. 3: The Directorate of Health Services in association with the Department of Social Welfare will be conducting Special Camps to cover all the left out children of (0-5 years) for issuance of Birth Certificates to enable Aadhaar Enrolment as per the following schedule:-

Port Blair, Feb 3: The ICAR-Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Central Island Agricultural Research Institute, Port Blair organized a Natural Farming awareness programme at Beodnabad panchayat on 02.02.2023 under out scaling of natural farming through KVKs project to promote traditional indigenous practices to reduce externally purchased agricultural inputs.

Mr V. Kumar, Sarpanch of Beodnabad panchayat, was present as a chief guest. He urged farmers to produce high-quality farm products without synthetic pesticides and herbicides. Thus, natural agricultural produce is highly beneficial to both human health and the health of the land and ecosystem.
