Campbell Bay, Nov. 23: A Block Level Science Exhibition was held today at Govt. Sr. Sec. School Campbell Bay under the ‘Rashtriya Avishkar Abhiyan’. The exhibition was inaugurated by Dr. Nitin Shakya, Assistant Commissioner, Campbell Bay as the chief guest. Shri Ayyub Hassan, Divisional Forest Officer was the guest of honour.

Port Blair, Nov. 23: In view of the upcoming VVIP visit, all the arms license holders under the jurisdiction of South Andaman District have been directed to deposit their arms & ammunition to the concerned Police Station with immediate effect till Nov. 27 as per section 21 (1) of the Arms Act, 1962. Action as per law will be taken, in case of non-compliance/violation.

Port Blair, Nov. 23: Due to administrative reasons, the scheduled sailing programme of MV Swaraj Dweep from Port Blair to Vizag on Nov. 25.11.2022 has been postponed. Now, the vessel will sail for Vizag on 26.11.2022 at 1000 hrs from Haddo Wharf. Excess baggage will be loaded from 1400 hrs to 1600 hrs on Nov.25, 2022 i.e. one day prior to sailing of the vessel.

Port Blair, Nov. 23: The counseling for admission to two years B.Ed. Degree Programme for the session 2022-23 in Tagore Government College of Education, Port Blair which was earlier scheduled on 24th November, 2022 has been postponed due to non-receipt of final year result of some PG courses offered by JNRM.
