Certain advertisements are also being published in the print and electronic media in this regard.

Further, general public have also been misinformed about construction of houses in agricultural/hilly revenue areas by unscrupulous agents who have been misguiding/misinforming the public by publishing such advertisements in public domain.

Port Blair, July 26: The Andaman & Nicobar Fire & Emergency Services successfully conducted a 3-day First Aid Firefighting and Disaster Management (DM) training program from 23rd – 25th July 2024 at the Fire & Emergency Services Head Quarters (HQ). Shri Manjeet Sheoran, IPS, Superintendent of Police (Fire/PTS/PR/DM), graced the occasion as Chief Guest.

Chief Guest interacted with the participants, appreciating their dedication and successful completion of the training. He emphasized the importance of such training not only for personal safety but also for the safety of the community at large. The training included live demonstrations of fire extinguishers and their operations, providing hands-on experience to all participants.
