Port Blair, July 12: The Department of Revenue, Andaman & Nicobar Administration has initiated action to simplify the process of various services offered by District Administration. In the first phase, 9 High Volume Services have been identified and certain documents which are required are proposed to be removed. The details have been uploaded in the State Portal viz. https://andaman.gov.in. The stakeholders and general public have been requested to make suggestion for further simplification.

Mayabunder, July 12: The first meeting of the District Skill Committee (DSC) of North and Middle Andaman District was successfully convened today at the Office of the Deputy Commissioner, North & Middle Andaman, Mayabunder. Chaired by the Secretary (Labour, Employment & Training), the meeting marked an important milestone in advancing skill development initiatives and programs within the district. The District Skill Development Committee serves as a pivotal body at the district level, dedicated to promoting and overseeing skill development endeavors. Its primary objective is to bridge skill gaps and foster employment opportunities by enhancing the employability of the local workforce.

Port Blair, July 12: The Ministry of Education, Department of School Education & Literacy, Shastri Bhavan, New Delhi has invited applications for National Awards to Teachers. All school teachers and Heads of Schools working in recognized Primary/Middle/High/Higher Secondary Schools run by State Govt./UT Administration, local bodies, aided by State Govt./UT Administration, Central Government Schools, Schools run by Ministry of Defence and Eklavya Model Residential schools (EMRS) run by Ministry of Tribal Affairs and school affiliated to CBSE or CISCE are eligible for consideration for the award.

Port Blair, July 12: The Directorate of Education, A & N Administration, Port Blair has invited online applications from eligible qualified candidates for the post of Primary School Teacher and Graduate Trained Teacher in different subject and medium. Interest candidates can submit their application through online at https://edurec.andaman.gov.in from 12.07.2023 to 01.08.2023 by midnight.

Port Blair, July 12: Today a Delegation of Andaman Nicobar Rajya Karmachari Mahasangh, Nagarpalika Swachtha Karmachari Sangh along with Shri Vishal Jolly, National Executive Committee Member, BJP, met Shri. Dilkhush Meena, IAS, Secretary, PBMC on the issues of releasing 1/30th to all DRMs.

Secondly, Shri. Vishal Jolly requested to expedite the works for providing the basic services such as Drinking water, toilet facilities in all Sanitary sections.
