Port Blair, Aug 16: To enhance the participation of women in the 77th Independence Day celebration of India, the women leaders of the Pradesh Youth Congress hoisted the national flag at 11 different locations of South Andaman and North & Middle Andaman District under the leadership of Ms. Diksha Dular, State President PYC and Shri. Abhibhushan Ghosh, State Vice-President PYC.

Port Blair, Aug 16: The District Administration, South Andaman has started a new initiative to organize revenue camps at every village of the District to reach the doorsteps of citizens for delivery of various services to redress the grievances pertaining to Revenue Department.

As a part of such initiative, the District Administration shall be holding Revenue Camp Court at Swaraj Dweep at Govindnagar Gram Panchayat on 18.08.2023 and 19.08.2023 from 1100 hrs onwards. All concerned officers/officials of the line departments shall also be present during the Camp Court at Swaraj Dweep.

Port Blair, Aug 16: The Andaman & Nicobar Territorial Congress Committee under the leadership of its President Shri. Rangalal Halder and Chairman, Campaign Committee Shri. TSG Bhasker celebrated the 77th Independence Day of India at the Premises of Gandhi Bhawan, Port Blair.

Port Blair, Aug 16: Andaman & Nicobar AIDS Control Society (ANACS) in co-ordination with Blood Center, G.B. Pant Hospital, Directorate of Health Services supported Atul Smrity Samity, Port Blair to organize a blood donation camp at Bengali Club on 15/08/2023 at 0900 hrs. as part of celebrating the Independence Day, 2023. 30 units of blood were donated by the voluntary donors.

Port Blair, Aug 16: The 77th Independence Day was celebrated at New Era KG school, Phoenix Bay, Port Blair.  Flag hosting was done by the chief guest Smt. Draupati Prasad. The occasion was made more special by the splendid performances by the students, which made the day more glorified.
