Port Blair, Dec. 21: The vessel MV Chowra which was supposed to sail for Nancowry via Chowra, Teressa & Katchal on 23.12.2021 (Thus) will now sail on 24.12.2021 (Fri) at 0800 Hrs from Haddo Wharf and will sail back to Port Blair on 26.12.2021 (Sun) at 1700 Hrs from Nancowry via Teressa, Chowra & Car Nicobar.

Port Blair, Dec. 21: B.Ed. I and II year supplementary examinations Dec 2021 of Pondicherry University shall be held in Tagore Government College of Education, Port Blair from 18th January 2021. Detailed time-table of these examinations are available on the College Notice Board. The last date for remitting the examination fee is 23rd Dec December 2021.

Port Blair, Dec. 21: On 18/12/2021, an UD FIR was registered at PS Ograbraj and the dead body of the deceased identified as Shamal Mondal. Since then, no family member/relative has come forward to claim the body. The body of the deceased has been preserved at cold mortuary of GB Pant Hospital. The family members of the aforesaid person are hereby requested to approach PS Ograbraj and take over the deceased body from GB Pant Hospital.

It is brought to the notice of the general consumers and government departments that power supply will remain suspended at the following area on 24.12.2021 (Friday) from 0800 Hrs. to 1200 Hrs. in connection with urgent breakdown maintenance of transmission & distribution system near PMB vehicle gate at Haddo Wharf (Gate No.4). 

Port Bair, Dec. 20: On Sunday (19.12.2021), the Member of Parliament, Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma participated in a beach cleaning drive, organised at Haddo Sea Shore area.

Many school students, college students and local youths participated in the event and contributed their best to keep the beach clean along with the Member of Parliament.
