Port Blair, June 4: Shri Mandeep Grewal, Founder & President of Port Blair Guru Ki Rasoi (NGO), which actively helped the society by distributing food during the COVID-19 lockdown called on Admiral D K Joshi, Lt. Governor, A&N Islands on 2nd June 2023. Grewal expressed his gratitude for opening the first ever Old Age Home for Women named “Ulhaas” at Atam Pahad. He also expressed his gratitude for implementation of various projects for the development of the Islands.

Diglipur, June 4: To dry up the supplies of illicit liquor, as a part of zero-tolerance against bootlegging, a strategy of jungle search has been adopted in N&MA District. In the recent past, several jungle search operations were carried out, the operation has yielded excellent results in apprehending and recovering major haul of Illicit Liquor/Lehan.
