Port Blair, Oct. 30: The MPL 35th National Under-11 Open & Girls Chess Championships–2022 began on 29th October 2022 at H S V Global School, Sector-46, Gurugram, Haryana. The event is being organised by All India Chess Federation (AICF) under the aegis of Sports Authority of India, Ministry of & Sports & Youth Affairs, Govt. of India from 29th October 2022 to 06th November 2022.

Port Blair, Oct. 30: The Animal Science Division of ICAR-Central Island Agricultural Research Institute, Port Blair conducted field day on “ICAR-CIARI Lead Fodder Development in Islands” on 28th October, 2022 at Animal Farm complex. The programme was conducted under the NABARD funded project “Establishment of sustainable model village on fodder production at South Andaman”. The field day was attended by livestock farmers from Ranchi Basti and Indira Nagar of Wandoor area.

Degree Programme for the academic session 2022-23 in Tagore Government College of Education, Port Blair has been extended up to 10th November 2022 as requested by the Principal, JNRM, Port Blair due to non-receipt of results from Pondicherry University. Desirous candidates can now submit their online application up to 10th November 2022 via URL http://collegeadmission.andaman.gov.in. No more request for extension of dates will be entertained.
