Port Blair, May 25: The Entrance Exam of Rashtriya Indian Military College (RIMC), Dehradun, for June 2023 is scheduled to be held on 3rd June, 2023 at Tagore Government College of Education. The Mathematics exam will be held from 9.30 am to 11 am, General Knowledge from 12 noon to 1 pm and English from 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm.

Port Blair, May 25: The Public Hearing for preparation of Draft Integrated Island Management Plan (IIMP) of Shaheed Dweep which was scheduled on May 26 at 11 AM at the Panchayat Hall, Gram Panchayat Neil Kendra, Shaheed Dweep has now been rescheduled to May 27 at 11 AM at the Panchayat Hall, Gram Panchayat Neil Kendra, Shaheed Dweep, due to administrative reasons.

Port Blair, May 24: During a recent meeting with the Chief Secretary, Andaman & Nicobar Administration, the Member of Parliament, Shri. Kuldeep Rai Sharma highlighted some of the crucial issues being faced by members of Water Sports Fibre Boat Owners’ Association in Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
He said that the Water Sports Fibre Boat Owners’ Association has some demands to enhance the promotion of tourism, improve the daily activities at the water sports complex and ensure the welfare of tourist boat operators.

Ayyappan, Secretary, CPI (M) A & N State Organising Committing today (24.05.2023) met the Director General of Police (i/c) and submitted a letter urging him to take stringent action against the police official involved in the brutal physical attack on a Forest Department Mazdoor at Diglipur. The victim mazdoor Shri Umesh Kumar is presently admitted in the GB Pant Hospital, Port Blair with serious injury to his right eye.

Ritu Kumari Oraon, Scientist- 'C', Central Ground Water Board are on a three day’s visit to Andaman & Nicobar Islands for review of Jal Shakti Abhiyan (JSA)-Catch the Rain 2023 Campaign under National Water Mission.
