Port Blair, March 17: In the wake of IMD warning about the formation of low pressure area over South East Bay of Bengal and its likely intensification into a cyclonic storm, all tourism activities in A&N Islands shall remain suspended from March 19 to 22, 2022.

Port Blair, March 17: The commuters/general public are hereby informed that as per the special bulliten issued by India Meteorological Department, Port Blair low pressure area over central parts of South Bay of Bengal and it is likely to be intensified into a cyclonic storm by 21st March, 2022. Keeping in view the safety of the passengers and the vessel, the announced sailing programme may get disrupted leading to suspension or cancelation of the vessels in the Mainland Island/Foreshore/Inter Island Sector.

Port Blair, March 17: Along with the rest of the country, the festival of colours - Holi will be celebrated in these Islands enthusiastically on March 18, 2022. To mark the occasion, the Tourism Department of A&N Administration will be organizing a musical programme at Corbyn's Cove beach from 9.30 am to 2.30 pm for the entertainment of tourists and general public. People have been requested to be a part of this celebration.
