Only those museums which are in the non-containment zone will be opened for tourists/ visitors.

The Curator / In-charge / Staff of Museum shall ensure that hand sanitizer are made available at the entry point for visiting tourists/visitors.

Entry tickets may be issued, preferably by e-mode only.

The Tourism activities are permitted only in South Andaman District except Little Andaman.

The beaches will remain open between 10.00 AM to 05.00 PM daily.

Tourists/visitors to maintain a minimum distance of 02 meters in public places / beaches.

Port Blair, Sept. 28: ICAR-Krishi Vigyan Kendra (CIARI), N & M Andaman organised a three days training programme on “Empowering Rural Women through Preparation of Bakery Products” for farm women and rural youths of N and M Andaman at Gram Panchayat Hall, Hari Nagar from 24th Sept. to 26th Sept.2020. Dr. Pooja kapoor, SMS (Home Science), course co-ordinator of the programme, discussed about the objectives and contents of three days training programme. The training was conducted with the objective to develop and enhance the skills of farm women and youths by providing technical knowledge about Bakery Science.

There will be only one show daily between 06 PM to 07 PM. (Hindi shows on all days except Wednesday. On Wednesday there will be English show).

The show will be operated at 50% of the total seating capacity, following social distancing.

The tourists/visitors shall follow strict social distancing norms. Seating arrangements to be made accordingly.

Any additional guidelines regarding boat travel issued by DC (SA) / A&N Administration to be followed.

Use of face mask will be mandatory for all the people visiting the show.

Tourists/visitors will have to undergo mandatory hand hygiene and thermal screening at the entry point. Only asymptomatic staff and guests shall be allowed.

Tourists/visitors to strictly adhere to the time limits.

Group photography will not be allowed during the show.

Spitting and smoking are strictly prohibited during the show.

Tourist / Visitors should avoid overcrowding in the washroom area.

Respiratory etiquettes to be strictly followed. This involves strict practice of covering one's mouth and nose while coughing/sneezing with a tissue/ handkerchief/ flexed elbow and disposing off used tissues properly after use.

Port Blair, Sept. 27: In the line of Aatma Nirbhar Bharat Campaign and implementation of PM SVANidhi scheme, the Port Blair Municipal Council distributed Certificate of Vending (CoVs) to 181 Street vendors at a function organized at Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Auditorium, Port Blair. The Council also conducted financial literacy training for the vendors.  Shri. Abhisekh Dev, IAS Secretary (UD) was the Chief Guest for the occasion while Smti. Anjali Sehrawat, IAS, Secretary (PBMC), Shri. Satya Priyadarshi, Regional Manager, State Bank of India and Shri. Farooq, District Lead Bank Manager, SBI were also present at the function.
