Blood Donation Camp Organised at Fire Service Head Quarters

Port Blair, Jan 17: Going by the saying that the gift of blood is a gift to someone's life, the A&N Police Fire Service during the on-going Police Raising week, 2023 organised a “Voluntary Blood donation camp” at Fire Service (HQs) on 17/01/23. 43 volunteers of A & N Police including Police Radio, IRBn and Fire Service participated in the Blood Donation camp with the aim to serve the general public. It is pertinent to mention that 07 donors were from General Public.

Port Blair, Jan. 17: Andaman and Nicobar Administration has launched a Web-based Clearance of Foreign Flag Vessel visiting A&N Islands in August, 2022. The Port Clearance System (PCS) https://pcs.andaman.gov.in provides a platform to all the registered agents to submit their requests online for berthing of the vessels in advance alongwith all the required documents of the visiting Foreign Flag Vessel.

Port Blair, Jan.17: The A&N Administration in coordination with National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), MHA, Gol, New Delhi will be conducting a State Level Mock Disaster Management Exercise on Earthquake and Tsunami on 9th February, 2023 in the Islands involving all stakeholders including ANC, Coast Guard, NDRF, PRIs, Schools/Colleges and Media.

Port Blair, Jan 17: In commemoration of the diverse harvest festival being celebrated all across the country, Society for Promotion of Serve Humanity Among Youths (SPARSHA) in association with Sai Youth Club Shore Point conducted an open to all Rangoli Competition. All together 12 contestants from different age groups participated in the competition held on 14th Jan 2023 at Sri Ram Mandir Complex, Shore Point. Shri M K Sundaram Ex-Zilla Parishad Member, Shri K Balakrishna Pradhan GP Shoal Bay and Shri Debkumar Bhadra President SPARSHA judged the rangoli put up by the contestants.

Port Blair, Jan. 17: The Transport Department will be organizing a Motor Cycle & Car Rally from 11 am onwards from Netaji Stadium to Dollygunj Junction tomorrow (Jan.18) and a Road Safety Awareness Program in the evening from 5.30 pm onwards in the Auditorium of TGCE as part of Road Safety Week being observed throughout the country as per the guidance received from the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways.
