Governor, A&N Islands and Vice-Chairman, Islands Development Agency today at Raj Niwas on his visit to A&N Islands to conduct a 2 Day Continuing Medical Education (CME) programme on Holistic Mindscape: Linking Mental Health and Homeopathic Care.

Port Blair, Oct. 10: A Mock Drill on Fire Incident was conducted in the State Library, Port Blair today by the Directorate of Disaster Management in coordination with A&N Police, A&N Police Fire Services, Directorate of Health Services, APWD and NDRF by creating real time fire simulation scenarios and tested the preparedness level and response system of State Library and also observed safe evacuation, search & rescue and fire extinguish operations, first aid along with medical support to manage the fire incident scenario in the State Library.

Port Blair, Oct. 10: A Selection Trial-cum-Championship for participation in the upcoming Yonex-Sunrise Mini (Under-11), Sub-Junior (Under-13) & Senior National Badminton Championships will be conducted on Oct. 21& 22, 2023 at Port Blair. All interested players of Mini (Under-11), Sub-Junior (Under-13) & Senior under the category as well as Medallist of the last state Championship may confirm their entries in the State Olympic Office at Netaji Stadium, Port Blair by 20/10/2023 with nominal entry fee.

Port Blair, Oct. 10: A firing practice will be carried out at Chinthe Long Range on Oct. 11, 18 & 19, 2023 from 9.30 am to 5 pm. All concerned have been warned to keep themselves and their livestock away from the firing area in the above mentioned date and time.
