Port Blair, June 12: Due to technical reasons, the scheduled sailing of the vessel MV Campbell Bay for Little Andaman on 14.06.2023 at 0900 hrs from Haddo Wharf and return to Port Blair on the same day at 2100 hrs from Little Andaman has been cancelled. Passengers those who have purchased their tickets for the above sailings have been informed to cancel their tickets and get full refund from DSS e-ticketing portal/STARS Ticketing Counters.

Ayyappan, Secretary, CPI (M) A & N State Organizing Committee has condoled the sudden demise of Shri Victor David, retired Office Superintendent, A & N Administration and resident of Prem Nagar, Port Blair today (12.06.2023) at Port Blair. He was 76 years. His last rites will be held on 13th June, 2023 at Port Blair. I convey my heartfelt condolences to the family members of late Victor David.

Port Blair, June 12: The last date for applying to the various categories of posts i.e. PGT/PET/Librarian/CI/PSRT under the Department of Education through online mode ended on 07.06.2023 and verification of online applications at Zonal level was also completed on 09.06.2023 by 3 pm. Keeping in view larger interest of the aspiring candidates and based upon several request received from the aspiring candidates, the last date for verification of online application for the said posts has been extended upto 14.06.2023 by 3 pm.

Port Blair, June 12: The vessel MV Nalanda which sailed from Vizag is expected to arrive at Port Blair on June 13, 2023 at 0800 hrs. She has on board 487 passengers. On arrival at Port Blair, the vessel will be berthed at Haddo Wharf and Passengers will be disembarked immediately.
