Port Blair, Dec. 23: As per Pondicherry University communication, the exam registration for 2018-19 series & previous batches and 27 to 14T series students have been accorded additional chances to appear for examination in Dec 2022 / Jan 2023 only of ECE, Civil and CSE branches is being carried out by respective Department and shall be completed by 28/12/2022.

Port Blair, Dec. 22: The Chief Secretary, A & N Administration, Shri Keshav Chandra, IAS held a comprehensive meeting today to review the current status of COVID-19 in A&N Islands and future threat perception. The meeting was attended by Shri Neeraj Thakur, IPS, DGP, ANP, Shri Kamal Datta, IFS, PCCF, Shri Nikhil Kumar, IAS, Commissioner-cum-Secretary (Health), Secretaries, Deputy Commissioners of all three Districts, Officers of A&N Administration and representatives from Andaman Nicobar Command.

Port Blair, Dec. 22: The Member of Parliament, Shri. Kuldeep Rai Sharma has sanctioned purchase and supply of three School Buses (one 26 seater and two 54 seater Non AC) to the State Transport Service unit of Diglipur from MPLADS fund for three specific routes of Diglipur region so that students of the region can comfortably reach their respective schools.
The cost of a 26 seater bus is Rs. 15 Lakhs while each 54 seater bus is Rs. 30 Lakhs.

Port Blair, Dec 22: A toy fair was organized today at Govt. Primary School Naya Shahar. This fair was the first of its kind, as the toys were prepared and developed by the small children with the help of their parents and teachers. The commendable thing about the making of the toys was that all the items were prepared using waste materials like newspaper, plastic materials, cloths etc.
