Port Blair, April 8: The vessel MV Kalighat will sail for Diglipur via Mayabunder on 12.04.2022 (Tue) at 2100 Hrs from Haddo Wharf and will sail back to Port Blair on 13.04.2022 (Wed) at 1400 Hrs from Diglipur via Mayabunder.  Passenger tickets for the above sailing will be issued from 11.04.2022 onwards at Stars Ticketing Counters.

Port Blair, April 8: The vaccination drive is continuing smoothly in A&N Islands. As per data available, a total of 6,11,699 beneficiaries in the age group of 18 and above have been vaccinated so far in A&N Islands. Similarly, 23,373 beneficiaries have been vaccinated in the age group of 15 to 18 yrs. and 10,291 beneficiaries have been vaccinated in the age group of 12 to 14 yrs. The number of beneficiaries administered precautionary dose of vaccine so far stood at 12,706.

Port Blair, April 6: The Headquarters Andaman and Nicobar Command (ANC) welcomed its first Inshore Patrol Vessel (IPV), Indian Coast Guard Ship Rajdhwaj on 03rd April 22  at Campbell Bay. The ship is rebased from Port Blair and is the first IPV based at Southern Group of Islands. It was formally inducted in a rebasing ceremony held at Campbell Bay, with all security stakeholders and civil dignitaries in attendance.

Port Blair, April 8: During RAT conducted on 60 passengers bound for North & Middle Andaman at Ferrargunj, no positive case has been detected. At Mohanpura Bus Terminus, test was conducted on 32 passengers, no positive case has been detected.  At Phoenix Bay Jetty, 33 passengers were tested with RAT, no positive case has been detected. At helipad, 9 passengers were tested with RAT, no positive case has been detected.
