Port Blair, Nov. 16: Two health professionals from A&N Islands, Smti Vijaya Saigal, Retired Matron, GB Pant Hospital and Smti Chandra Mallick, ANM, GB Pant Hospital were awarded with National Florence Nightingale Awards-2021 for their meritorious services in the field of health services by the President of India, Smti Droupadi Murmu during the award ceremony held at New Delhi recently.

Port Blair, Nov. 16: A delegation of AATO comprising of its President, Shri. M. Vinod, General Secretary Shri. K. Hamza and Joint Secretary, Shri. Saikat Biswas met the Chief Port Administrator today. The delegation appraised CPA of the problems being faced by the tour operators and tourists at Haddo Jetty.

Port Blair, Nov. 16: Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) has designated 3rd December, the birth anniversary of Dr. Rajendra Prasad, the first President of India as Agricultural Education Day. In this connection, ICAR-CIARI, Port Blair is conducting a series of programmes for school and college students from 15th November to 5th December, 2022.

Port Blair, Nov. 16: SAMFAR Events will be organising a Men’s Physique competition called ‘Body Hunt 2’. The aim of the competition is to bring awareness about man physique and encourage health and fitness among the youth of the Islands.
