Port Blair, April 25: The Andaman & Nicobar AIDS Control Society (ANACS) organized an Orientation and Capacity Building programme for the youth of “Red Ribbon Club” (RRC) of Govt. Industrial Training Institute (ITI), Dollygunj, Port Blair on Prevention and Control of HIV & AIDS today. More than 150 youth were present for the orientation programme.
The programme was organized under the leadership of Dr. Subrata Saha, Project Director, A&N AIDS Control Society.

Port Blair, April 25: The District Administration, South Andaman District carried out extensive eviction drives at Port Blair and Ferrargunj Tehsil.
Encroachments done over an area approximately measuring 500 Sq. Mtrs upon government land at village Bambooflat and 1500 sq. mtrs of land situated at Dhanikhari village wherein 5 tin structures were constructed has been removed and the land has been restored to government khaata at Ferrargunj Tehsil.

Shoal Bay, April 25: A free health camp in association with Rotary Club of Port Blair was conducted at Panchayat Bhawan Shoal Bay on 21st April 2024. A team of consisting of Dr. Dinesh, Dental Surgeon, Dr. Snehesh, Dental Specialist, Dr. Dhanalakshmi Gynaecologist, Dr. J Saranya, General Physician conducted the camp in which 58 patients were screened and free medicines were given.
