Port Blair, Sept. 21: In continuation to zero tolerance policy against any kind of crime, PS Aberdeen staff have once again cracked a theft case within few hours and arrested one person.

A theft case was reported at PS Aberdeen that on 11/09/2022 an unknown person had stolen 02 numbers ATM Cards, PAN card, one school bag and cash Rs. 4350 which were kept in the complainant’s car. After the theft of ATM cards, the accused person had also withdrawn Rs. 20,000 from the ATM. Upon this, a FIR vide No. 148/2022 dated 14/09/2022, U/s 379 IPC was registered at PS Aberdeen and investigation was entrusted to SI P.K Jabbar.

Kuldeep Rai Sharma, Member of Parliament of Andaman and Nicobar Islands has deeply condoled the sad demise of Mata Amritanandamayi’s mother Damayanthi Amma, who passed away at her residence at Amritapuri Ashram in Kollam at 2.50 pm on Monday (19 September 2022). She was 97.
