Port Blair, Aug 1: The Andaman & Nicobar State Organising Committee of All India Democratic Women’s Association (AIDWA) will organise a mass demonstration in front of Port Blair Municipal Council at 4 p.m. on 2nd August 2023 (Wednesday) to protest against the rape, murder and naked parading of women in Manipur.

AIDWA workers from Port Blair town will participate in the Mass Demonstration. 

Port Blair, Aug. 1: Social Welfare Department in collaboration with Pankh, an NGO organized ‘a run for fun’ on July 29, 2023 for specially-abled children and their mothers in order to promote inclusiveness. Along with the events organized for the specially-abled children, an event for other children was also organized. A total number of 45 specially-abled and 40 abled children participated in the event which commenced from Dharamshala Junction to Marina Park Junction.
