Diglipur, Oct. 22: The Island Beach Games 2026 will be held at Ramnagar Beach, Diglipur on Oct. 30 and 31, as part of the approved Tourism Event Calendar, with the objective of promoting beach tourism and encouraging participation in sports, recreational activities and showcasing tourism potential of North & Middle Andaman District.
Participants of all age groups are eligible to participate in the event and separate categories will be organized for male and female. The sporting events include Beach Volleyball, Tug of War, 100-Metre Sprint, Kabaddi and Musical Chair (only for females).
Interested participants may register for the sporting event at the Chamber of the Block Development Officer (BDO), Diglipur, till Oct. 26 from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm and from 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm.
The lottery for the sporting event shall be conducted on Oct. 27 at 4 pm at the Chamber of the Block Development Officer (BDO), Diglipur. A representative from each participating team should be present at the venue at the scheduled time of the lottery. For further details, one may contact, Shri C.
