ITDP Car Nicobar Distributes Professional Cycling Skinsuits to Tribal Trainees

Car Nicobar, Oct. 26: In a significant initiative to promote sports and nurture talent among tribal youth, the Integrated Tribal Development Project (ITDP), Car Nicobar, distributed 15 professional cycling skinsuits to tribal trainees currently undergoing coaching under the Sports Authority of India (SAI), Car Nicobar.

The distribution ceremony, held yesterday at Car Nicobar, was presided over by Shri Amit Kale, IAS, Deputy Commissioner (Nicobar), who handed over the skinsuits, to the beneficiaries. In his address, Shri Amit Kale encouraged the young athletes to pursue excellence and bring laurels to the islands by showcasing their talent at national-level competitions.

The event was also attended by Project Officer (ITDP) / Assistant Commissioner (HQ), Car Nicobar, along with the SAI Coach.

This initiative reflects ITDP Nicobar’s unwavering commitment to nurturing local sporting talent, promoting youth engagement in competitive sports, and fostering a culture of fitness, discipline, and achievement among the tribal communities of the Nicobar District.
