Sri Vijaya Puram, Oct. 15: JNRM organised a comprehensive Drug-Free Awareness Programme at its Lecture Gallery today to sensitise students about the growing menace of narcotics and substance abuse. The programme was conducted under the guidance of Principal, Dr. Pearl Devdas. The keynote awareness lecture was delivered by Sub-Inspector Ms. Masuma, A&N Police. Through an informative PowerPoint presentation, she explained the serious physical, psychological and socio-legal consequences of drug addiction. She urged students to resist peer pressure, adopt healthy lifestyles and make informed choices. She also encouraged them to act as responsible citizens by reporting suspicious drug-related activities to the appropriate law enforcement authorities.
