Hyderabad, June 16 Admiral D K Joshi, PVSM, AVSM, YSM, NM, VSM (Retd.), Hon’ble Lt. Governor, A&N Islands and Vice Chairman, Islands Development Agency, attended the Kaushal Manthan – Southern Regional Workshop at Hyderabad, chaired by Hon’ble Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Shri Jayant Chaudhary hosted under the aegis of Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship to promote collaborative growth, exchange innovative ideas, and enhance regional skill development initiatives, with a focus on integrated approaches, high-quality training, and local job opportunities, ultimately building a robust and adaptable workforce for the future.
Hon’ble Lt. Governor in his address, apprised the gathering on Flagship Skill development initiatives and entrepreneurship schemes being implemented by A&N Administration. He shighlighted unprecedented opportunities of investment promotion & exposure in Fisheries, Tourism, Marine Products & Hospitality sectors in A&N Islands and various Infrastructure segments on account of Mega Projects opening up in Ports & Shipping segments. He also interacted with ITI delegates attending the function.
