Sri Vijaya Puram, May 31: To commemorate World Bicycle Day on 3rd June 2026, the Directorate of Sports & Youth Affairs, A&N Administration, in coordination with the Sports Authority of India, is going to organize a Mega Fit India Cycle Rally on Sunday, 7th June, 2026. The Cycle Rally is open to all Islanders, Tourists, Youth, School & College Students, Parents and Cycling Enthusiasts. The rally will commence from Netaji Stadium, Sri Vijaya Puram at 7:00 AM and proceed up to Corbyn’s Cove Beach and return back to Netaji Stadium. Participants are requested to report at the Main Gate of Netaji Stadium by 6:30 AM on Sunday, 7th June, 2026, for smooth coordination and flag-off arrangements. To facilitate seamless participation management, all individuals and groups are requested to register immediately through the Fit India portal https://fitindia.gov.in/world-bicycle-day. Participants are also informed that they must join the Cycle Rally with their own bicycles. The Directorate has appealed to the public to actively participate in the rally and contribute towards promoting fitness, healthy living, and awareness about cycling among the community.
