On the occasion of the Silver Jubilee Celebrations of the Andaman & Nicobar Command, I extend my heartfelt greetings and best wishes to all ranks of the Command, veterans, civilian personnel and their families.
Established in 2001 as India’s first and only Tri-Service Command, the Andaman & Nicobar Command has completed 25 glorious years of dedicated service to the nation, marked by jointness and commitment. The Command’s contributions in humanitarian assistance, disaster relief, search and rescue operations, and support to the civil administration reflect its unwavering commitment to the people of the Islands.
On this significant occasion, we remember with deep respect and reverence all those brave personnel who made the supreme sacrifice in the line of duty. Their courage and dedication will continue to inspire generations to come.
I commend the professionalism and devotion to duty of all personnel of the Andaman & Nicobar Command. I wish that the Command continues to uphold its glorious traditions and makes significant contributions towards building a secure, peaceful and prosperous India and a strong and stable Indo-Pacific region.
Jai Hind!
