On this momentous occasion of our 79th Independence Day, I extend my heartfelt greetings and best wishes to all the people of the Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
Independence Day is not only a celebration of our nation’s freedom but also a time to remember with deep gratitude the sacrifices of our freedom fighters, whose courage and determination gifted us the liberty we cherish today. It is also a time to renew our commitment towards building a strong, united and self-reliant India.
Let us, together, uphold the ideals of democracy, harmony, and progress, and work hand in hand for the prosperity and well-being of our beloved Islands and our great Nation.
