Sri Vijaya Puram, Sept. 5: The Ministry of Fisheries Animal Husbandry & Dairying (MoFAHD), Govt. of India had invited comments/suggestions from public and concerned stakeholders on ‘Proposal for Guidelines for Sustainable Harnessing of Fisheries in the High Seas by Indian-Flagged Fishing Vessels, 2025 and Proposal for Sustainable Harnessing of Fisheries in the Exclusive Economic Zone of India Rules, 2025 under the Territorial Waters, Continental Shelf, Exclusive Economic Zone and Other Maritime Zones Act, 1976’ vide public notices of even number dated 31st July, 2025 and 1st August, 2025, respectively.
The last date of submission of the comments/suggestions from public and concerned stakeholders on the draft proposals mentioned above has now been extended till 15th September, 2025.
