Sri Vijaya Puram, Aug. 26: A career guidance programme was organized by the Model Career Centre (MCC) under the Department of Employment & Training, in collaboration with Govt. Girls Senior Secondary School at its premises today. The objective of the programme was to provide valuable guidance to students on career opportunities, higher education avenues, and employment prospects.
Addressing the gathering, Shri Srinivas Rao, Director (Employment & Training) encouraged the students to pursue their aspirations with dedication and emphasized the importance of career planning. He urged students to make use of the diverse educational and vocational opportunities available to them. Distinguished resource persons viz. Capt. Rohit Lall, Merchant Navy, Shri Kumar Senthil, Base Coordinator, Pawan Hans India Ltd., Dr.Gayathri PS, Community Medicine, ANIIMS, Ms. Aurgya Mandal, Asst. Professor, Andaman Law College, Dr. J. Siddique, Asst Professor from ANCOL, Ms Anisha Ahmed, Trainee of ITI and T. Deepak, Sai Institute enlightened the students about the opportunities available in different fields. The event concluded with an interactive session, where students enthusiastically raised queries and clarified their doubts with the experts. More than 250 students of class XI & XII participated in the programme.
The session ended with a vote of thanks proposed by Smti K. Binu, Vocational Guidance Officer, MCC.
