Kadamtala, Sept 4: Intensifying the North & Middle Andaman District Police’s relentless campaign against drug trafficking, PS Kadamtala conducted a search at a residential premise in Kadamtala on 03.09.2026, leading to the recovery and seizure of one cultivated cannabis plant weighing approx. 100 grams.
The accused was arrested, and a case was registered at PS Kadamtala under relevant provisions of the NDPS Act. Further investigation is in progress. N&MA Police remains committed to maintaining a drug-free district and taking firm action against the illegal cultivation and trafficking of narcotic substances.
The operation was conducted by SI P R Shain Nair, SHO, PS Kadamtala, under the direct supervision of Shri Mahendra Singh Charan, DANIPS, SDPO, Rangat.
