Sri Vijaya Puram, July 17: As part of the celebration of its 44th Foundation Day, the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD), Sri Vijaya Puram, is organizing a vibrant Exhibition-cum- Sale of SHG Products at the ITF Ground on July 19 & 20, 2025.
The event will spotlight the achievements of NABARD in fostering rural development and financial inclusion over the past four decades. The mela will feature over 100 SHGs and around over 40 Artisans from across the Islands, showcasing a diverse range of products including Geographical Indication (GI) Products, Handicrafts, Seashell items, Organic produce, Traditional textiles, Processed foods, and Eco-friendly innovations.
The mela is part of NABARD’s broader mission to support rural livelihoods through capacity building, skill development, market linkages, and financial literacy.
The people of the Islands and tourists have been cordially invited to explore, shop, support SHGs, who are contributing to the region’s inclusive development.
