
Namunaghar, April 24: The 04th Panchayat Sthapana Diwas was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Gram Panchayat Namunaghar on 23rd April 2026 at Lappa Tekri Ground, Namunaghar, at 6:00 PM.
The event was organized in honour of the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, one of India’s most revered freedom fighters, whose legacy continues to inspire patriotism and courage across the nation (Drishti IAS).
Dr. Apurva Sharma (DANICS), Director (RD/Panchayat), Joint Secretary to the Lieutenant Governor, and Joint Chief Electoral Officer, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
The programme witnessed the presence of several distinguished representatives and public figures including Shri Y. Venkateshwar, Pradhan, Gram Panchayat Namunaghar, Shri Simson, Up Pramukh, Shri Sharfuddin, Zilla Parishad Member, Shri Mohammed Shafiq, Pradhan, Mithakhali and various PRI members and local residents
Addressing the gathering, Pradhan Namunaghar, Shri Y. Venkateshwar, urged the public to take full advantage of the various government stalls showcased during the mela. He also requested the Director (RD/Panchayat) to continue supporting developmental initiatives in the Panchayat and expressed his gratitude for the constant guidance and support extended by the administration.
The event highlighted the importance of grassroots governance and community participation, while also paying tribute to the ideals of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, symbolizing courage, leadership, and dedication to the nation.
The celebration concluded with active participation from villagers and stakeholders, reflecting a strong commitment towards local development and unity.
