Sri Vijaya Puram, Nov. 13: National Book Week 2025 will be celebrated at the State Library, Sri Vijaya Puram, from 14th November to 20th November 2025, in honor of Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru, founder of the National Book Trust of India, on his birthday. The week-long event aims to foster a spirit of reading and commemorate Nehru’s vision of a nation enriched by literature and knowledge.
The inaugural function for National Book Week 2025 is scheduled on 14th November at 4:00 PM at the State Library. The event will launch a book exhibition featuring a wide variety of books intended to appeal to readers of all ages, including biographies, novels, competitive exam guides, and children’s literature.
Throughout National Book Week 2025, school students will engage in a range of literary competitions, for students of Govt. and Private schools of the Municipal area during this week.
