Sri Vijaya Puram, Sept. 14: The NCC cadets of the A & N Islands bid an emotional farewell to Colonel Pankaj Modgil, who relinquished charge as Commanding Officer of 1 (AN) Indep Inf Coy NCC, handing over the responsibility to Colonel Kanwar Yudheshwar Singh on his transfer.
During his three-year tenure, Colonel Pankaj Modgil provided inspiring leadership that significantly enhanced the standards of NCC training and activities in the Islands. The farewell and assumption of command ceremony was graced by ANOs, PI staff, civilian staff, and cadets from both the Army and Naval wings of the NCC, marking a dignified and orderly succession of leadership.
