Nicobar District Administration Organises Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign as Part of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav

Car Nicobar, Aug. 13: The District Administration, Car Nicobar organized Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, as part of the nationwide celebrations of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. All Government Offices, educational institutions, community organizations, and local residents have joined hands to display the National Flag at their homes, workplaces, and public buildings. The campaign aims to foster a spirit of patriotism, unity, and pride among citizens, while honoring the sacrifices made in India’s freedom struggle.

Special programmes were organized as part of Har Ghar Tiranga, 2025 campaign which includes District Level Flag yatra & Bike rally Route from Edward Kutchat Park via Gandhi Chowk to Priyadarshni Hall, Tamaloo, Selfie with Tiranga, Priyadarshni Hall, Tamaloo and Signature campaign, Canvas at DC Office, Car Nicobar. Tiranga Quiz & Drawing competition will be organized at Schools of Car Nicobar on Aug. 14 and hoisting of National Flag at homes on Aug. 14 & 15.

Special awareness drives, rallies, and cultural programs have been organized across the district to encourage every household to hoist the Tiranga from 13th August, 2025 to 15th August, 2025. The initiative has received overwhelming support from Tribal Village Councils, Village Captains.

Speaking on the occasion, Shri Amit Kale, Deputy Commissioner, Nicobar District said, “The Tiranga is a symbol of our unity in diversity. Through Har Ghar Tiranga, we are not just hoisting a flag; we are hoisting our shared dreams, values, and love for the nation.”

All citizens are encouraged to follow the Flag Code of India, 2002, while displaying the National Flag with dignity and respect.
