Nicobar District Police Conducts Awareness & Guidance Session for Tribal Applicants on Upcoming A&N Police Recruitment

Car Nicobar, May 10: On 02.05.2026, as part of a proactive initiative to enhance awareness and encourage participation among tribal communities in the upcoming A&N Police recruitment, a special interaction and guidance session was conducted at Car Nicobar. The session was led by Rahul L Nair, Superintendent of Police, Nicobar District, in the presence of T. Hemawathi, SHO, PS Car Nicobar, along with I/c Police Radio and Fire Station, Car Nicobar. The programme witnessed active participation from aspiring candidates of the local tribal communities.

During the session, the Superintendent of Police, Shri Rahul L Nair, IPS, briefed the aspirants on the upcoming recruitment drive, including vacancies, categories and available posts, while ensuring they are well-informed about the process. Emphasizing the importance of physical fitness, he advised candidates to begin regular training and maintain discipline, along with sharing practical guidance and motivational inputs to boost their confidence.

To ensure a smooth and hassle-free application process, help desks have been set up at police stations to assist candidates with form filling, clarifications, and documentation. Applicants were advised to submit their forms well before the deadline of 17.05.2026, while Nicobar Police reaffirmed its commitment to supporting local youth and promoting maximum participation from tribal communities in the recruitment process. The initiative reflects the department’s dedication towards inclusive outreach and empowering local communities through opportunities in public service.
