
Diglipur, July 14: The District Administration, North & Middle Andaman continued its anti-encroachment drive on Government land by carrying out an encroachment eviction operation at Radhanagar Village under Diglipur Tehsil.
During the operation, encroachments in the form of temporary sheds, arecanut plantations and banana plantations were removed from six different locations and an area of 1.5 hectares of revenue land was restored into the Government Revenue Records.
The District Administration has reiterated its commitment to protecting Government land from unauthorized occupation and has warned that strict action will continue to be taken against all encroachments in accordance with the provisions of the law. The public has also been urged to refrain from encroaching upon Government land and to cooperate with the Administration in safeguarding public property.
