Sri Vijaya Puram, Dec. 10: VSI Airport announces that normal operations are fully underway following a brief period of disruption. Airport authorities confirm that all facilities, including passenger services, airline operations, and ground transportation, are functioning as usual.
Major disruption occurred on Dec 7, 2025 with 07 cancellations of M/S Indigo airlines and thereafter situation started resuming back to normal with single Indigo cancellation. From Dec 8, 2025, situations returned to normalcy.
Airport Director Sh. Muneer Madampat stated, “Our teams acted quickly and efficiently to address the situation. We appreciate the patience and cooperation of our passengers, staff, and partners. Safety and service continuity remain our highest priorities.”
All scheduled arrivals and departures are proceeding on time. Passengers are advised to check with their respective airlines for the latest flight information and to arrive at the airport with standard travel timings.
