Pashu Camp Conducted by CD Block Mayabunder

Mayabunder, Feb. 22: A Pashu Camp was conducted on Feb. 20 by the C D Block Mayabunder with the objective of providing immediate veterinary healthcare services to SHG Members under DAY-NRLM Scheme which include health check-ups, vaccination, deworming, treatment of sick animals, and expert advisory support on scientific livestock management practices.

On the occasion, Shri Pareek, Senior Veterinary Officer, Billiground, highlighted that such Pashu Camps greatly benefit the community by strengthening the livelihood activities of Self-Help Group members and local livestock farmers. He emphasized the importance of timely veterinary care, disease prevention, and adoption of improved animal husbandry practices to ensure better economic returns.

The veterinary team provided on-the-spot treatment, distribute medicine and tagging of cows and guidance to the livestock owners. The camp witnessed active participation of 29 SHG members and farmers, reflecting their interest in improving livestock health and income generation activities.
