Sri Vijaya Puram, Oct. 26: Beneficiaries who have recently availed loans under the Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP) are advised to contact their respective Financing Bank / Sponsoring Agency (District Industries Center / KVIB / Extension Office of Industries Department) for submission of subsidy claims under the scheme. Several PMEGP subsidy claims submitted by financing banks to the Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC), Kolkata, have been returned due to issues such as incomplete documentation or incorrect submissions. A considerable number of claims from previous years have been sent back by KVIC with remarks for corrections and resubmission
In order to expedite the process and resubmission of PMEGP subsidy claims to KVIC, PMEGP beneficiaries are advised to contact respective Financing Bank / Sponsoring Agency (District Industries Center / KVIB / Extension Office of Industries Department). Beneficiaries are urged to extend kind cooperation in this regard, after receipt of subsidy from KVIC the same shall be kept in fixed deposit account till repayment of loan and will be adjusted after third party physical verification and submission of report thereof.
