Police Station Aberdeen Cracked Down Theft Case Within 24 Hours and Recovered all Stolen Items

Sri Vijaya Puram, April 29: Demonstrating unwavering professionalism and persistent efforts, the team of Police Station Aberdeen successfully cracked down a theft case, recovering the stolen articles and apprehended accused person.

On 25/04/2026, a complaint of theft case was received at PS Aberdeen and on the basis of the complaint, a team was immediately constituted, comprising of SI Dinesh Jaiswal, PCs K. Jagdish Babu, P. Mohd. Rafique and Sandeep Kerketta. Through diligent efforts, technical surveillance and local intelligence. The team successfully identify and apprehend accused namely Sunil Kumar (50 yrs) S/o Late Vasudevan R/o Stewartgunj, Bambooflat. The stolen articles were recovered from the procession of accused and the same was seized after observing all codal formalities.

The case was investigated under the command of SI V Siva Kumar, I/c PS Aberdeen with the guidance of Shri Deependra Kumar Singh, DANIPS, SDPO South Andaman and overall supervision of Smti Shweta K Sugathan, IPS, Superintendent of Police, South Andaman District.

The general public is requested to share information pertaining to any crime or other illegal activities to Police at 112, 03192-232100, 03192-236641 & 03192-232400. The identity of the informant will be kept secret.
