
Sri Vijaya Puram, March 15: Demonstrating exemplary professionalism and swift action by the staff of Police Station Aberdeen led to solve a burglary case within 04 hours, recovery of all stolen cash and apprehension of accused.
On 13/03/2026, an information has been received at PS Aberdeen regarding burglary at Hanuman Mandir located at Sea Shore Road. Acting swiftly, a police team led by HC Sunil Singh Yadav along with PCs K. Jagdish Babu, P. Mohd Rafique, Surender Singh Yadav and Sandeep Kerketta was constituted. The team conducted intensive enquiries and technical verification, which led to identification and apprehension of accused within four hours.
During the course of investigation, the stolen cash amount to Rs 4250/-was successfully recovered and accused has been arrested and produced before the Hon’ble Court for further legal proceedings.
The entire operation took place under the command of Insp. Vijay Kumar, SHO PS Aberdeen under the guidance of Shri Brij Mohan Meena, DANIPS, SDPO South Andaman and overall supervision of Smti Shweta K. Sugathan, IPS, Superintendent of Police, South Andaman District.
