Sri Vijaya Puram, April 16: In exercise of the powers conferred under the M.V. Act, 1988 (Act No. 59 of 1988) read with Administration’s Notification No. 32-95/2008-TR dated 10th March, 2008, the District Magistrate, South Andaman District has notified for the information of all concerned that a portion of road from GPS Teylerabad School Junction to Sub Centre (Jio Office Junction), Teylerabad, shall remain closed for all vehicular traffic from 17.04.2026 to 23.04.2026 (for seven days) for execution of road resurfacing work and construction of cross drainage structures (RCC Hume pipe culverts) by APWD.
During the above-mentioned period, all vehicular traffic shall be diverted through the following route: GPS Teylerabad → RSN Junction Teylerabad via NTS Junction → Garacharma Junction → Old Bimblitan and vice versa.
All concerned have been requested to cooperate and adhere to the traffic regulations for smooth management of traffic.
